Comm-Team communication-equipment register — anyone can view. Location defaults to "JC Warehouse" for new items. Source of truth is the live database; if it can't be reached this shows a built-in snapshot.

How to update the register

Two ways to make changes: in the app, use + Add or a card's ✏️ Edit (best while you're here — dropdowns, no typos). Not in the app? Email the commands below to from your Comm-Team address. Either way you get a confirmation of exactly what changed.

To change an item's status, location, or comments, send:

Equipment: LT-IMT-03
Status:    Deployed
Location:  Joplin staging
Comments:  assigned to the Joplin response

The rules

Labels are flexible — any order, any case. Leave a line out to keep that field unchanged.
Equipment must match a name shown in the app. A typo → no change + a "did you mean?" reply.
Status must be one of the five below (shorthands like "repair", "lost", "storage" also work). A bad status → no change + a reply with the valid list.
Location & Comments — free text, anything.
Group — add a Group: <name> line to move an item under a different heading (see "How to modify equipment list").

Several items in one email

Stack as many as you like — separate each block with a blank line. You get one reply listing every change:

To add, remove, rename, or re-group items, send commands like these — put a Group: line on every Add:

Add:   Headphone 1
Group: Headphones

To:     Brother Printer 1

The rules

Put a Group: line on every Add — it files the item under that heading. A name not already in use creates a new group; a group disappears once nothing is in it. (Add may also include Status / Location / Comments — defaults In Storage / JC Warehouse.)
Group applies to its own item only — in a multi-item email, repeat the Group: line in every block (it does not carry down to the items below it).
Remove — the confirmation reply even tells you how to add it back.
Rename — changes an item's name only; its group stays put.
You can combine these with status updates in one email — one block per item, separated by a blank line.
